PD visit on 5 Jul

My poor little Kyan has not been feeling well for the past 1 wk.. He is cranky and often sudden crying or screaming in pain.. We suspect that he is suffering from colic.. cos his stomach is bloated.. haiz..

We tried giving him gripe water, ridwind (from pharmacy), rub him with Ru Yi oil and burp him.. still doesnt help much.. so decided to bring him to the PD..

It was so crowded and with lots of children coughing and sneezing away.. so afraid that my boy will caught the virus.. PD confirmed that he has a colic and prescribe him a drop to boost up his immune system and digestive system..

The visit cost us $110++ but its worthwhile cos I can actually see so much improvement in few days time.. so glad.. no more cranky Kyan.. :)

Yo Kyan~! Finally you has arrived in this world after 40wks inside Mummy's tummy and 13 hrs in the labour ward!

My labour story

6 June - Visited gynae for a check and I am 2cm dilated (Can admit anytime)
Decided to return home to wait for contractions to kick in..

Nothing happen for the whole nite..

7 June - 7am, felt some contractions.. and timed its actually ranging frm 5mins to 8mins interval.. waited awhile..

At 9 am, the contractions are getting closer n closer becoming 2mins to 5mins interval..
Decided to proceed to hospital just in case.. went for a bath.

Arrived hospital at around 945am to 10am. Quickly have my breakfast at delifrance.

Proceed to Labour ward counter after that and warded into delivery ward at 1030am.. was still 2cm dilation.

Gynae informed and asked me to wait.. contractions kept coming in more n more.. till 2pm.. Gynae is here and check only 3.5cm dilation.. slow.. predicted to see u only at 9pm.. waterbag was bursted and on drip and contractions kick in bery quickly and strongly.. :(

So painfulll.. and at 5pm checked and only 4cm dilation.. super slow! how to tolerate? Finally, Mummy surrendered to Epidural..

After epidural, tummy contractions are gone.. relieved.. but my pain at the bottom where u are pressing with your head pressure did not go away.. it was still as painnnnn as without the epidural.. really unlucky.. but it helps me to dilate faster..

At 845pm.. Mummy was 9cm dilated.. and 1 more cm to go~ hurray!!

At 945pm was checked and getting ready for push..

Started at 10pm and push till 1115pm.. Mummy gave up and asked for gynae's help..

And after another few pushes, Kyan is out!! Baby, you made Mummy suffered.. but Mummy loves u!

Kyan, you finally decided to come into this world soon.. 6 June, Friday visited Dr Wong and did a cervix check that Mummy is already 2cm-2.5cm dilated! You will arrive anytime! Now Mummy is waiting at home for contractions to kick in.. Dr Wong said you would come either tonite or tomorrow.. Jia You ok! 1 2 3 Push! 1 2 3 Push!!
