My FIRST Birthday Present!

Day 1 of Button Mushroom

Mushroom may be sautéed and added to your child's food between 8-10 months old. It is not recommended to offer your baby mushroom puree on its on. You should add it to food dishes. Please ensure that they are fully cooked, soft, and appropriately sized so as not to pose any choking hazard!

It is most important to cook mushrooms for your baby's food. Mushrooms as we all know are fungi and cooking helps ensure their safety!

Get the fresh button mushroom not the one in the can.

I melted bit of butter and fry the mushrooms bits before adding the rice and water..

Day 1 of Unsalted Butter

This is the first time I am introducing unsalted butter to my boy. This helps to add some flavour into his food. Do not introduce butter earlier than 8.5 to 9 months old. Never use margarine, only use butter when cooking baby/children food.

At the same time, I bought salmon for him to try.. Salmon has a very strong taste so personally I don't take it.. Not sure about Kyan.. Keeping my fingers crossed..

Conclusion:

Kyan DON'T like it! He did not even finish 1/3 of it.. :(

Nvermind, let's try again in one month later.. :)

Northpoint + SSC

Today Daddy is working so Mummy was trying hard to think where to bring me for gai gai..

Thinking thinking and thinking.. OH YEAH! Got it!

So Mummy decided to bring me to Northpoint then follow by Sembawang Shopping Centre..

We took bus 854 to Yishun Northpoint.. I am so well-behaved! You see..

It's kinda of boring..

Mummy wants to get a new pair of shoes for me on my birthday party.. We got in to this shop and looking at few pairs of osh kosh shoes.. very nice! But.. couldnt get a size that suits me! SOB..

So we left the shop with disappointment..


We saw many people with balloons in the shopping centre.. So here Mummy go around searching for it.. OH yesh! MAYBANK!

OK, it's time for us to proceed to Sembawang Shopping Centre.. So we walk over to the busstop at Yishun Mrt station for the shuttle bus to SSC..

The new shopping mall in Bugis

Today, Daddy and Mummy brought me to this new shopping mall named Iluma in Bugis to walk walk.. Nothing much there but I am very attracted to the arcade area!

There was a shop selling cute cute items.. Mummy saw this.. A fake donut which looked so real! And she used it to trick me!

Day 1 of Egg Yolk

This is the first time that I introduce egg yolk to my boy. You can introduce egg yolk when baby is 7 1/2 months or 8 months old but not too young because it could trigger an allergy. I boiled the egg for about 15 to 20 minutes to ensure that the egg is cooked thoroughly. Once the egg is cooled, I peeled off the egg shell and take out just the egg yolk for baby making sure that no egg white remnants on the egg yolk. I mixed it into his porridge.
